John is Troika's founder and president. Throughout his twenty-five year career, John has held human resource leadership positions at some of the most respected lifestyle / apparel & footwear brands worldwide. John's skill-set stands out among his peer group as he also has significant operating experience, allowing him to truly understand the business needs and their impact on an organization.

From his start as a holiday temp at Bloomingdale's to his most recent executive roles for The Talbots Inc., John has built his career on a driving passion for The Brand and The Customer. And as a C-level leader himself, John always brings actionable, business-driven solutions to the people-centric challenges of his clients. He understands the balance required to build high performance teams while creating a powerful corporate culture and compelling employer identity.

John's work experience includes roles at Abercrombie & Fitch, The Timberland Company, Kenneth Cole Productions, J.Jill, Talbots and Nike's Cole-Haan division. Additionally, John holds a BA in English from Bates College (1986).
